Vidyo client
- Vidyo client software, VidyoConnect is ready for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android OS.
- Supported OS version
- Windows 7 , 8.1 , 10
- MacOSX 10.10.5 higher(MacOSX 10.9.5 only VidyoDesktop)
- iOS 10.10 higher
- Android 5.0 higher
- For Linux users, please use Web RTC client, since Vidyo client for the OS is not supported now.
- Anti-howling
- To avoid howling in using Vidyo client, please use earphone or headphone, instead of speaker.
- To use the vidyo client( include WebRTC ), you need an account.
- Please apply Vidyo account first from the step 1 “account apply form” below.
- If you already have an accout for KEK computing systems of PostKEK,KEKCC or KEK VPN, please fill the account name as User ID of the form. ( for the VPN account, “/vpn” postfix should be omitted from the account )
- If not the case, please select any UserID(include first name or family name) starting with “v-” and apply with it. ( ex. v-“first name” or v-“family name” )
- For Vidyoroom (VIdyo dedicated hardware), please select any UserID starting with “vr-” and apply with it. ( ex. vr-kekhd2 )
- “Institute e-mail address” in the form should not be a free mail address such as Gmail or Yahoo mail. We do not accept them as “Institute e-mail address”.
- If you do not recieve any acknowledge mails within 5 minutes after clicking “Application” botton of the form, please contact consult@kek.jp (It is response 9:00 - 17:00 on weekday).
- This Vidyo system is allowed to be used only for meetings of KEK related projects.

- The VidyoPortal where users can download the client.
- Windows and macOS users can download from the VidyoPortal.
- MacOSX 10.9.5 is only supported by VidyoDesktop.
- Linux users can use Vidyo system by accessing WebRTC from your web browser.
- iOS user can download Vidyo client from Apple store and Android user from google play.
- Install ( VidyoConnect Quick manual)
- For windows, macOS and iOS and Android users, please install the Vidyo Connect installer.
- For Linux users, please access to WebRTC Web page and use it by Firefox or Chrome web browser. WebRTC
FireWall setting
The Vidyo system (Vidyo client and Web RTC) uses the following network ports. If your PC or network closes these ports, please consult to your (PC or Network) administrator.
